Good stewardship of our resources has always been a goal for our congregation at Broadmoor, both as a church and as individuals. Salvation Army, Providence House, Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission, and Shreveport-Bossier Community Renewal are several of the benevolences through the offerings.
The Broadmoor Neighborhood Association, the Red River Quilters, and other organizations use our facilities for their monthly meetings. The after school program for Arthur Circle School students meets daily in the children’s building. Scout troops, AAU Teams, and the YMCA basketball program have also been welcome.

The area Shreveport-Bossier Presbyterian Churches recently held a Mission Market featuring fair trade goods and services. Proceeds from the market went to the agencies that provide for the poor, sick, lonely, elderly, and forgotten in our city, our state, our nation and our world.
The youth of Broadmoor have given of their time to help at the NW Louisiana Food Bank, Noel Neighborhood Ministries, Providence House, Highland Center, LSUHCS, the Shreveport Rescue Mission and Holy Angels. The adults have worked with Fuller House and Habitat for Humanity building homes for those less fortunate. Both the youth and adults serve meals at the Shreveport Bossier Rescue Mission. Members give regularly to the food pantry for distribution to Noel Neighborhood Ministries and the NW Louisiana Food Bank. Twice a year we sponsor blood drives through the assistance of the Louisiana Blood Bank.
Kinder Helpers is a tutoring/mentor program for kindergarten students at Arthur Circle School. In partnership with St. Joseph Catholic church, Broadmoor is finding new ways to serve God’s people in the neighborhoods around Broadmoor.
